Making A Beer Run: Beer Meets Fitness

MUSEUM CAMPUS, CHICAGO

Toppling Goliath makes Chicago debut. It's not often you get to drink beer guilt free, but this might just be your chance. Making A Beer Run is a 6K fun run along the beautiful Lake Michigan shoreline, followed by a three hour beer festival featuring 11 of the Midwest's best breweries, including the Chicago debut of acclaimed, and cult favorite Iowa brewery, Toppling Goliath.

A Look Around The Bend with Dan Schedler

A Look Around The Bend with Dan Schedler

LOGAN SQUARE, CHICAGO

With over 4,000 breweries in operation and new ones popping up every day, options are everywhere. It's always refreshing, therefore, to see a brewery trying to do something a little different. With that idea seemingly front and center, Dan Schedler founded Around The Bend Beer Company. Currently brewing out of the shared space at Ale Syndicate's Logan Square operation, the two-year-old brewery has been popping up all over Chicago as of late. With big things clearly on the horizon, we caught up with Dan to discuss steampunk, Ale Syndicate's partnership, an out of state Head Brewer, and a potential future move for 'ATB.'

AVONDALE, CHICAGO

We're all fans of beer here, especially local, Illinois brewed craft beer. We drink it at beer bars and breweries around town, pick up the newest releases at our neighborhood bottle shop, and attend the seemingly endless stream of festivals throughout the year. Breweries make beer, distributors get it to us, and we drink it. It's as simple as that right?
