Chicago Craft Crawl #8: Lincoln Avenue - Part 2

Chicago Craft Crawl #8: Lincoln Avenue - Part 2

CHICAGO, IL

Lincoln Avenue is a 13 mile long tour through some of the most inviting neighborhoods Chicago has to offer. There is certainly no shortage of solid places to grab a beer. It's also home to a whole lot of holes you don't want to waste your time with. With so many options to sift through, we've split this Chicago Craft Crawl into two parts. In Part 1, we kicked things off in Lincoln Park, drinking our way north through some fine establishments as far north as George Street. But there's a whole lot more to explore on the northern reaches of this bustling avenue. So, grab your nearest CTA bus or train and head to the intersection of Belmont and Lincoln for The Hop Review's Chicago Craft Crawl v. VIII... Lincoln Avenue - Part 2

Chicago Craft Crawl #7: Lincoln Avenue - Part 1

LINCOLN AVE., CHICAGO

Trip number seven in our beer-logged tour of Chicago brought us to many a Chicagoan's favorite, Lincoln Avenue.  The road itself pushes 13 miles through the city's northwest side, so we wisely chose to broke the tour into a Part 1 and a Part 2. And since the thoroughfare's CTA #11 bus no longer exists, we suggest walking or biking this first section of the ave., that fittingly rolls through the Lincoln Park neighborhood into Lakeview. So, head to LP and tackle The Hop Review's Chicago Craft Crawl v. VII...

Chicago Craft Crawl #1: Damen Avenue

The Chicago Craft Crawl ("CCC" as we'll dub it) is the start of an ongoing series that we will use an excuse to check out some of Chicago's best neighbourhoods – and drink some fantastic beer along the way. To kick off the series, we chose to drop in at some of Chicago's favorite craft beer haunts, with the help of the #50 Damen bus. The CTA's Damen Avenue bus is like an express ride to some of Chicago's finest drinking establishments. Damen and it's surrounding blocks've got it all, with quiet tree-lined residential streets harboring dozens of gems tucked just off its corners.
